MT. MORRIS, MI -- Dailey Elementary School students got the celebrity treatment this morning.
They were greeted by live drummers, staff, teachers and administrators as they walked down the red carpet in to the first day of classes Monday, Aug. 22.
The Beecher district elementary has a half-day today to get students paired with teachers and set expectations for the upcoming year.
Principal Robert Howard, in his first year in that role, said he’s excited to carry on the clap-in tradition to create positive energy for students and parents.
