Hello BHS Parents - This Friday at 9:00 AM, we will be celebrating BHS Decision Day for the Class of 2025! Students in grades 9 through 12 will gather in the BHS Cafeteria to support and recognize our seniors as they prepare for graduation and take their next steps after high school. 12th-grade parents, we invite you to join us to celebrate the accomplishments and future plans of our graduating class. #BucPride

Good evening, BHS Families! Our students have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming state testing window, which officially begins this week. Juniors will kick things off with testing on Wednesday and Thursday, and we’re excited to see them showcase all they’ve learned! Congratulations to our 1980 Beecher Girls’ Basketball Team. They’ve been inducted into two Sports Hall of Fames. Last weekend, they were inducted into the Greater Flint African American Sports Hall of Fame; 2025 Inductee. Also, our mighty Lady Bucs was inducted into the Greater Flint Area Sports Hall of Fame in 2017. Let’s Go Bucs!!! 🅱️🅱️🅱️❤️ The 1980 Beecher girls' basketball team, coached by Dave Hollingsworth, won the Class B state championship, marking the first in Beecher's girls' program history, after suffering double-overtime defeats in the final round of the state tournament the previous two seasons. The 1980 Flint Beecher Women's Basketball team includes Cassandra Jones, Renee Harmon, Rhonda Arthur, Kim McClain, Kim Day, Melody Bridges, Rhonda Jackson, Shawn Jones, Margie Randle, Daphne Dixon, Diana Wiley, Tina Summers, Antionetta Williams, Faye Cotton, and Shelly Sparks.
